WALKING   WITH   JESUS

Job 23:10  But He knoweth the way that I take:

when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

By Rev. Dean Beaty   4/1/08

Absent this body, present with God.

A new, better path I will then trod.

Walking with Jesus, oh pure delight.

Why should my heart ever have fright?

Never a step that God does not know.

No matter how distant the path may go.

If it’s His path, He’s made no mistake.

“But He knoweth the way that I take.”

The path where God leads, when in His will.

May not be smooth, and maybe up hill.

With God’s wise guidance along the way,

His power and protection are not far away.

Will the Lord answer before it’s too late?

Or come to meet me at heaven’s gate?

If that’s our goal and heaven’s our prize,

How could life’s trials ever terrorize?

Walking with Jesus on heaven’s shore,

All tears forgotten forevermore.

Walking with Jesus at home at last,

This life and heaven, what a contrast.
